Puts life back into your soil!

Organic solutions help to promote a healthy population of soil microorganisms. Your soil needs these microorganisms as they are responsible for releasing the nutrients held in the soil so they are available for the plant roots to take them up.  For more information on compost tea click here

Organic fertilizers

We recommend 4 applications:
spring, summer, late summer, and fall.

We use a 4.1.4 alfalfa & kelp product which helps strengthen the turf plant roots, enabling your lawn to survive the stresses of summer heat and drought.

Nematodes

A beneficial variety of microscopic worms that seek and destroy the larvae/ grubs of June bugs and European Chafer, that are feeding on the roots of your grass plants.

Aerating,
Top dressing
and over seeding

Critical for healthy grass.

• Aerating reduces compaction and allows for more air in the soil.
• Top dressing with compost helps with greening up quickly in the spring, increasing the population of microorganisms in the soil, and improves the moisture holding ability of the soil by putting organic material back into the soil.
• Over seeding is necessary to create thick stands of turf to help muscle out the weeds. We use a slit seeder which gives the best results for germination.
